Julie Bale enjoys a successful career as a voice teacher and workshop leader of renown in addition to being a celebrated singer and choir leader. As a voice specialist Julie has worked with singers at all levels of the profession. After a first degree in Music & German, a PGCE and a diploma from the Royal College of Music she trained for over 15 years in Singing and Vocal Pedagogy with Janice Chapman AUA MOA. She has held posts of Resident Singing Teacher with a number of Prestigious London Choirs including London Oriana Choir.
Julie regularly leads workshops with choirs all over the UK on Vocal and Performance Technique and Chakras for Singers as well as running her own highly successful private practice in Watford. She is the also the conductor of Northwood Choral Society,
Julie has performed the majority of the major choral works with choirs all around the UK. She is particularly in demand for performances of Verdi’s Requiem and Orff’s Carmina Burana. In opera her highlights have been as Leonora Fidelio and Helmwige Die Walküre as well as the Mozart heroines. She is also an experienced recitalist recently giving performances of Richard Strauss Four Last Songs.
During lockdown she has been in very high demand delivering workshops to choirs and she currently leads extremely popular online group singing lessons. Julie is the founder of Chakras For Singers. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and works from Everywoman Yoga
